FIELD CONSTRUCTION TECHNICIAN – CIVIL / PROCESS / ENVIRONMENTAL Location: New Jersey (Florham Park-based) Compensation: Hourly rate commiserate with experience + Potential for Overtime + Per Diem (for travel)+ Benefits ABOUT BLUE WORLD Blue World Construction ( www.bluwrld.com ) specializes in technically demanding civil, industrial, and environmental construction projects nationwide. Our New Jersey team performs remediation work, process piping installations, landfill and site construction, industrial plant upgrades, and utility infrastructure projects. POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking a skilled Field Construction Technician with hands-on experience in heavy civil, mechanical, or process-related construction. This is a working field role requiring strong mechanical aptitude and versatility. You will perform skilled labor tasks, assist with process installations, and support remediation and industrial projects. This is not an entry-level position. TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE WE VALUE Preference given to candidates with experience in: Process piping installation (steel, HDPE, ductile iron) HDPE butt fusion and electrofusion Above and below ground pipe installation Welding (pipe and/or structural) Rigging and equipment setting Industrial or remediation sites Concrete forming and minor structural work Mechanical system installation Candidates with exposure to landfill, environmental, or regulated construction sites will stand out. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Majority of projects located in NJ/PA. Travel within NJ required (per diem and mileage when >1.5 hrs from Florham Park office). Occasional out-of-state travel (rotations up to 3 weeks) may be required a few times per year or more. Travel time, per diem, lodging, and airfare (if applicable) are paid by the company. If you are not willing to travel occasionally, this role is not a fit. Requirements

  • 3–5 years construction experience (civil, mechanical, industrial, or remediation preferred)
  • At least 1 year of piping-related experience required
