Summary The Construction Manager will oversee the construction of cellular towers/MOD upgrades/Tech Upgrades/and General Maintenance by supervising both the ground and tower crews to ensure timely completion of the project and maintain project budgets. This is a safety-sensitive position. Key Responsibilities Safety First – Put safety first and production second. Always. Schedule the project resources in logical steps and budget the time required to meet the deadline. Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, or design professionals to discuss and resolve work procedures, complaints, or construction problems. Assist the Project Manager in preparing and submitting budget estimates, progress reports, or cost-tracking reports. Work closely with the Project Manager to interpret and understand plans and contract terms and execute scope according to the contracted scope. Plan, organize, or direct activities concerned with the construction or maintenance of structures, facilities, or systems. Take proactive action to effectively deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at the site. Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes or other regulations and ensure the contracted scope is completed. Study job specifications, plans, and scope to determine appropriate construction methods. Direct and supervise all crew members. Requisition supplies or materials to complete construction projects. Investigate damage or delays at construction sites to ensure proper procedures are carried out. Determine labor requirements for dispatching workers to construction sites. Evaluate construction methods and help determine the cost-effectiveness of an assigned task. Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with health & safety environment regulations. Ensure the highest level of safety and quality control requirements are upheld. Other duties as assigned.
