About The Position

AECOM is seeking a Field Construction Engineer III at the Murray, UT office. Under general supervision, performs routine duties. Displays knowledge and abilities to evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria to meet basic engineering and construction specifications. Displays applications of sound professional judgment on details of work. Independently performs walk-downs and inspections of installed commodities to assure conformance with specifications and design. Performs quantity surveys for tracking and reporting. May provide technical direction to drafters, technicians, and surveyors.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree with 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to pick up at least 50 pounds on a consistent basis.

Nice To Haves

• 5 years of Field Construction Engineer Experience.
• SRDTT Concrete Testing Certification.
• Degree in Civil Engineering is preferred.
• Prior UDOT inspection experience.
• Prior inspection experience working with a municipal or state agency.
