About The Position

Position is located in Greeley, Colorado. Residency requirements apply. Position may be hired as a field construction coordinator or sr field construction coordinator, dependent upon skills, experience, and eligibility. Relocation assistance may be considered. Hourly pay range: $37.75 - $45.00 Posting date: 12/18/2025 Closing date: 1/2/2026 THIS JOB DESCRIPTION DOES NOT ATTEMPT TO LIST ALL OF THE DUTIES THAT ARE OR MAY BE PERFORMED IN THIS POSITION Primary Duties Coordinates activities to accomplish assigned natural gas system projects requiring the use of internal resources and external contractors. Monitors and ensures projects are completed in a safe, cost-effective and timely manner. Serves as internal and external customer contact during the construction phase of new or existing natural gas system projects. Monitors project status and acts as liaison between Company resources, contractors, government agencies and vendors to ensure success of projects Reviews materials utilization and process related invoices for accuracy. Maintains and applies knowledge of current construction techniques, materials, standards and regulations required for the installation of natural gas pipelines and related facilities. Performs activities to ensure responsiveness to natural gas and other emergencies. Completes and maintains accurate records and reports to comply with Company and regulatory requirements. OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: May be required to hold stand-by duty, work shifts, holidays, weekends, emergency call outs, and occasional extensive hours. Is subject to reporting outside regular work area. Identifies, addresses, and reports safety and encroachment issues to their resolution and completion. Is responsible for the safe operation and inspection of assigned Company vehicles and equipment. Demonstrates support for and adheres to the Company's values, strategies, policies and procedures and exhibits the core values of AtmoSpirit, Customer Service, Safety and the Company's Code of Conduct both as an individual contributor, team member and/or leader of others. Must become familiar with the contents of the Safety Manual, live by the spirit of its intent and become involved in creating and maintaining a safe working environment. Must complete all required safety training.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and Four years natural gas construction and maintenance, and/or pipeline operations field experience.
  • Must have obtained Sr Level status in construction maintenance or pipeline operations
  • Must have and maintain minimum Operator Qualifications (OQs) and classroom training for position.
  • Must obtain and maintain any other required OQs and classroom training or certifications within six months.
  • Must have and maintain a Competent Person certificate
  • Requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Company standards.
  • May require CDL, if required see Driver's Qualification policy.
  • May require a welding certificate.
  • Requires working knowledge of various software applications for data entry, reference and/or retrieval tasks.
  • Requires the ability to communicate with internal/external customers to obtain and/or provide explanations and/or information.
  • Ability to lift and carry 53 pounds from the ground to 52 inches. (Ex: lifting and operating fire extinguisher).
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and/or crouch.
  • Ability to walk a distance of 500 feet.
  • Ability to climb a 19-inch step. (Ex: climbing in and out of vehicle).
  • Requires occasionally performing activities including, but not limited to, bending, stooping, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning and/or lifting.
  • Requires the acute sense of sight and hearing (corrected or uncorrected) and strong sense of smell.
  • Must be able to lift tools, equipment and materials up to and including 60 pounds.
  • As a Safety-Sensitive position, pre and post employment screenings, including but not limited to drug testing as outlined by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), and motor vehicle record (MVR) background checks are required.
