About The Position

The position involves providing mail service for the assigned location, which includes making mail pick-ups and deliveries, sorting, weighing, posting outgoing mail and packages, and distributing interoffice mail. The role also requires performing word processing functions, typing checks and reports, and establishing and maintaining files for payroll, accounts payable, and general accounting documents. Additionally, the employee will prepare documents for hiring or terminating employees, verify the accuracy of foreman's reports, and maintain records on equipment rental. The position includes assisting with invoice preparation, invoice distribution, and bank reconciliation, as well as operating typical office machines such as fax machines, copiers, computers, and printers. The employee will prepare various reports and run miscellaneous errands while identifying safety hazards and taking corrective action as necessary. Other job-related duties may be assigned by supervision.
