About The Position
The position involves engaging in and supporting the collection, management, and disposal of chemical waste while providing necessary documentation. The role promotes a culture of safety by ensuring that site personnel are properly trained to perform their duties in compliance with safety, environmental, federal, state, and local regulations. The individual will be responsible for technical quality, contract cost control, personnel management, directing and approving technical work, and adherence to contracted project schedules and the site Health and Safety Plan (HASP). Additionally, the position requires serving as a primary user of the client's proprietary online waste management system, ensuring that the client has the necessary information to track hazardous waste disposal and recyclable materials management. The role also involves establishing and maintaining working relationships with subcontracted waste disposal firms and coordinating logistics for the transportation of hazardous and nonregulated waste from client sites.
