About The Position

The position supports national and regional strategic direction, focusing on local assortment and planogram execution. The role requires maintaining vendor relations, recommending product and policy changes, and achieving financial objectives through budget preparation and variance analysis. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, business, or related field preferred.
  • Five years of experience or more preferred, including three years of management responsibility.
  • Expertise in MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word preferred.
  • Strong relationship management, analytical thinking, and financial acumen skills.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

  • Supports national and regional strategic direction.
  • Responsible for local assortment and planogram execution.
  • Owns frontline pricing decisions with promotional guidance.
  • Responsible for vendor operations and local relationships.
  • Implements planograms and resets, including managing 3rd party relationships.
  • Conducts actionable operational reporting (Out of Stock, Zero Sales Reporting, etc.).
  • Selects local vendors and negotiates costs and terms.
  • Develops schematics applying category management principles.
  • Increases sales revenues through promotional concepts and overlay programs.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing financial and key result area targets.
  • Fosters positive relationships between National, Regional, and Business Unit teams.
  • Supports pilots/testing activities and tracks results.
  • Establishes and monitors gross margins and forecasts annual sales quotas.
  • Projects and measures category sales and gross profit results.
  • Maintains vendor relations and resolves concerns.
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy.
  • Achieves financial objectives through annual category review and budget preparation.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge through continuous education.
