About The Position

Valiant is looking for a Field Camera Operator Level I to join our Team! ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate, carry and maintain all assigned A/V equipment. Provide video and still photograph products with quality equal to commercial industry standards. Expected to operate vehicle and equipment using night vision devices and lenses and master all tasks listed in OJT course outline. Expected to provide video and still photograph products in support of JRTC Live Fire operations. Reports directly to Field Team Chief for training and assignments. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma.
  • Required to apply for and obtain DOD secret level security clearance within twelve months of hire date.
  • Possess a LA drivers license.
  • Must be able to travel unaccompanied to continental US and foreign locations.
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Must be available to work flexible shifts outdoors and react quickly to schedule changes.
  • Will be subject to pre-employment drug screening; will be subject to random drug screening.
  • Must be in good physical condition, capable of carrying 35 to 40 pounds of equipment over varied terrain while keeping pace with military units.

Nice To Haves

  • JRTC experience that includes navigation and military knowledge.
  • Education or background in video/photography.
  • Active DOD Secret (or higher) security clearance.
