As a Field Automation Engineer (m/f/d) – PLC & Robotics in the US, you will support our customers by integrating complex automation solutions. Responsibilities awaiting you: Troubleshoot and resolve PLC, drive and robotics issues on-site Commission, integrate, and modify PLCs (SIEMENS, Allen Bradley) and robotic systems Perform diagnostics and optimize system performance Maintain robotic systems for smooth operations at customer locations Collaborate with teams in the US and Germany for system reliability Provide on-site and remote technical support and address customer inquiries Train and assist customers in system functionality and troubleshooting

  • Troubleshoot and resolve PLC, drive and robotics issues on-site
  • Commission, integrate, and modify PLCs (SIEMENS, Allen Bradley) and robotic systems
  • Perform diagnostics and optimize system performance
  • Maintain robotic systems for smooth operations at customer locations
  • Collaborate with teams in the US and Germany for system reliability
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support and address customer inquiries
  • Train and assist customers in system functionality and troubleshooting
  • Degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering preferred
  • One year of experience in a similar position is a plus
  • Experience with PLCs (SIEMENS, Allen Bradley) and drives
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for PLCs
  • Knowledge of robotic systems (industrial robots e.g. Yaskawa, Fanuc, ABB) is a plus
  • Basic LabView knowledge for troubleshooting is a plus
  • Proficiency in Windows (Network, Office, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills for customer interaction
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced English (technical proficiency)
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
  • Degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering preferred
  • One year of experience in a similar position is a plus
  • Knowledge of robotic systems (industrial robots e.g. Yaskawa, Fanuc, ABB) is a plus
  • Basic LabView knowledge for troubleshooting is a plus
