About The Position

This role utilizes analytical skills to create a comprehensive estimate of damages for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims leading to the proper disposition. National General Insurance is seeking a Field Auto Claims Estimator. Responsibilities

• Applies thorough understanding of regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
• Builds established relationships with both internal and external customers
• Exhibits proficient estimating fundamentals in order to create estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses
• Processes a deep understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company
• Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the file within escalated authority limits
• Responsible for preparing a high volume of daily estimates (typically 11–12 or more).
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Manage workload to meet tight deadlines and support team objectives
