About The Position

Join Our Team! The Field Audit team is responsible for physically counting the inventory in stores. This position travels to all ABC store locations to complete inventories with the assistance of the store team. Inventories are completed by at least (2) inventory team members. Extensive driving is required as a part of this role as inventory crew is not limited to their home location. This is a full-time overnight position and overtime may be required. Scheduling is as followed: Sunday afternoon – Friday morning. Fridays evenings/Saturdays are off. The Field Audit team visits stores the first THREE weeks of the month. The final week is spent working in a store as directed by the RVP for their home store area. Requirements

Clean driving record – must pass driving test – company car provided for travel
Extensive ABC product knowledge and inventory procedures in stores
At least 6 months (prefer 1 year) working at ABC in a retail location
Basic computer skills – Outlook, Word, OneStop, AS400, Handhelds
Ability to be flexible and handle changing schedule needs
Must be able to work overtime and be on the road/out of town during the week
Problem solving – working with store team to determine best organization practices, instruct on proper inventory prep procedures, understand how to read invoices
The position requires extensive walking, crouching, kneeling, and climbing
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds of product
Able to frequently climb and descend ladders or lift platforms that may be greater than 6 feet.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control inventory integrity
Visit every store at least 2 times per year
Verify prep in stores
Count all items using the handheld
Recounts – assisting with identify potential inventory issues (missing invoices, etc)
Post inventory recap assessment
