About The Position

The Dealership Audit Professional role is a fantastic early career opportunity for a curious and growth-oriented learner. Each day you'll enjoy working at various automotive dealership locations and meeting new people as you complete inventory inspections to assess Ally's risk exposure while verifying dealership compliance with the terms of our financing arrangements. The role requires on-site inspection of all Ally-financed vehicles, including investigation and reconciliation of missing vehicles. You'll work in a strong team environment with a high degree of contact with dealership personnel, third parties, and Ally teammates across various levels. Business travel expenses and a company vehicle are provided. Daily local travel is required with occasional overnight stays throughout the regional territory.

Requirements

  • HS diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2 + years' experience in financial services or similar industry.
  • Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in business or related may be used as a proxy for the experience.
  • Performs clerical, administrative and technically based activities and/or supporting tasks.
  • Typically requires intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Intermediate written and oral communication skills.
  • Must have an active driver's license and the ability to travel 100%.

Responsibilities

  • Field investigations requiring review of dealership files and records.
  • Physical audits including looking up VINs (vehicle identification numbers) and comparing to internal Ally records.
  • Communication with dealership personnel to resolve audit issues.
  • Day-to-day travel time to go to and from dealership locations.
  • Required administrative responsibilities including supervisory release, time tracking, expense reporting, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.
