Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Cell Biology or Biochemistry, or Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, and/or relevant experience.
  • 3 years of previous experience in a clinical laboratory or IT in a clinical lab environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to learn and stay updated on Roche solutions across various fields, including chemistry, immunology, molecular, life sciences, and IT solutions, while keeping up with industry trends.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, along with project management experience.
  • Strong customer consultative skills, including advanced scientific knowledge, exceptional customer engagement, and the ability to foster strong customer relationships.
  • Ability to coach and mentor junior staff and work independently as a field-based individual contributor.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to demonstrate expertise in technical repair and installation for Roche product lines.
  • Serve as the primary liaison and expert for consultative, administrative, and technical installation matters.
  • Support the local support team in identifying, analyzing, and executing complex hardware instrument implementations.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures while minimizing installation delays.
  • Maximize customer satisfaction with Roche installations and promote effective communication within the team.
  • Oversee and assess the quality of installation teams' work and provide feedback for improvement.
