We are hiring a Field Application Scientist. The Field Application Scientist will work with Life Sciences Field applications team to learn existing processes and help drive project goals to completion. Requirements

  • Must be at least a 2nd year bachelors degree student and a returning student after the summer in a program with focus on Biology/Biotechnology
  • Strong proficiency in cell culture science, bioprocess, and general ‘technical marketing’ techniques.
  • Aptitude for understanding, communicating, and interpreting scientific concepts, applications and methods.
  • Highly motivated with strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and adjust quickly.
  • Customer focused/Strong networking skills
  • Well organized
  • Ability to work with others and independently as required.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Responsibilities

  • Review customer supplied product data for trends
  • Leverage SFDC product evaluations, cases and FAS inputs
  • analyze data for actionable insights
  • Propose ideas for next steps and present at team meetings
  • Collaborate on creating templates and other assets to support FAS team initiatives.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to understand the role of marketing and customer feedback
  • All interns will participate in a weekly 1:1 project update with the Supervisor.
  • All Interns will have a chance to participate in customer calls when appropriate.
  • All interns will attend weekly FAS team meetings and other internal meetings as assigned
  • All interns will prepare and present final report of accomplishments and learnings at conclusion of internship to select sales leadership
