We are hiring a Field Application Scientist. The Field Application Scientist will work with Life Sciences Field applications team to learn existing processes and help drive project goals to completion. Requirements
- Must be at least a 2nd year bachelors degree student and a returning student after the summer in a program with focus on Biology/Biotechnology
- Strong proficiency in cell culture science, bioprocess, and general ‘technical marketing’ techniques.
- Aptitude for understanding, communicating, and interpreting scientific concepts, applications and methods.
- Highly motivated with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and adjust quickly.
- Customer focused/Strong networking skills
- Well organized
- Ability to work with others and independently as required.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Responsibilities
- Review customer supplied product data for trends
- Leverage SFDC product evaluations, cases and FAS inputs
- analyze data for actionable insights
- Propose ideas for next steps and present at team meetings
- Collaborate on creating templates and other assets to support FAS team initiatives.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to understand the role of marketing and customer feedback
- All interns will participate in a weekly 1:1 project update with the Supervisor.
- All Interns will have a chance to participate in customer calls when appropriate.
- All interns will attend weekly FAS team meetings and other internal meetings as assigned
- All interns will prepare and present final report of accomplishments and learnings at conclusion of internship to select sales leadership
