PRO-VISION is looking for a Field Applications Engineer to join our growing team. The desired candidate must be local to West Michigan. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Requires onsite travel to North American customer locations ~5-10% of time

Responsibilities

• Capture, define, and implement key customer requirements
• Define and meet deadlines for product development
• Ensure products are high quality and meet all industry standards
• Ensure products are reliable and user friendly
• Team player with a positive, professional and proactive attitude
• Apply a methodical and detail-oriented approach to tasks
• Follow all company procedures, processes and policies
• Develop and/or update product specifications and technical documentation
• Provide guidance on the development and updates of product support materials
• Lead the development and implementation of new products
• Drive improvements for existing products through structured problem-solving
• Provide support and training to the internal teams
• Deliver engineering assistance to sales, customer service, production, and procurement teams
• Propose and support process improvements
• Perform additional duties as assigned
