Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in medical technology, technical, or life science field.
  • 1+ years clinical laboratory experience or equivalent.
  • bioMérieux product experience preferred.
  • ASCP or MLT certifications preferred.
  • Clinical Microbiology experience is highly desired.
  • Laboratory Information System, or Connectivity/Networking experience a plus.
  • Experience with guidelines with CLIA regulations and/or additional laboratory credentialing agencies preferred.
  • Experience with related technical field applications support strongly preferred.
  • Experience with bioMerieux products is a plus - Vitek 2, Virtuo, BacT Alert, and/or MS Prime.

Responsibilities

  • Provide solution-oriented consultative training, technical support and troubleshooting at customer sites, and remotely, on bioMérieux's diagnostic product lines.
  • Effectively work with customers to achieve efficient implementation and go live of new instrumentation.
  • Retain business, collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Perform all work in compliance with company policy and within the guidelines of bioMérieux's Quality System.
  • Coordinate and provide technical training, consultation, and ongoing support of bioMérieux's diagnostic product lines within the U.S. customer base.
  • Develop, cultivate, and maintain strong professional relationships with all customers.
  • Answer internal and external customer inquiries and ensure regulatory compliance through timely and accurate documentation in bioMérieux's CRM system.
  • Provide consistent follow up to ensure customer satisfaction and meet minimum key performance indicators.
  • Responsible for efficient territory management within operating expense budget.
  • Support bioMérieux revenue initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, and/or as business needs dictate.
