About The Position

We're looking for a dynamic and driven professional to deliver expert field application and technical support for Revvity's cutting-edge Automation and Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) solutions. In this role, you'll be the critical link between our customers and the sales team—ensuring outstanding customer experiences and technical excellence. You'll play a key role in both pre- and post-sales activities: delivering compelling product presentations and live demonstrations and providing hands-on and remote support across your territory. You'll also help develop advanced application protocols, support complex instrumentation, and collaborate on innovative solutions across a range of scientific disciplines, with a primary focus on molecular biology and NGS. This position will require local travel and trips to neighboring states in the territory. Primary work location will be Midwest region. Must reside in the Minnesota or Chicago region. Requirements

  • Requires a BS degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or related area with minimum 2 years' industry experience.
  • 2+ years of expertise in molecular biology or genomics including assay design, development and troubleshooting.
  • 1 + years of Hands-on experience with automated liquid handling systems.

Nice To Haves

  • MS or PhD in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or related area with minimum 2 years' industry experience.
  • Interactive skills to work with a variety of scientists/customers and as part of multidisciplinary team.
  • Hands on experience with Next Generation Sequencing.
  • Experience with Revvity's Janus and/or Sciclone / Zephyr platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site trainings on Automated Liquid Handling (Janus/Fontas, Sciclone) and NGS solutions (Chemagen and NextFlex reagents) primarily for customers in the Midwest and neighboring states.
  • Conduct on-site and remote product demonstrations and troubleshooting to drive adoption and retention of client base.
  • Execute pre and post sales presentations with Sales Specialists on full product line.
  • Facilitate educational programs for client base.
  • Support business plans to drive target achievement and support the growth strategy within assigned end-markets.
  • Develop applications specific protocols on Automated Liquid Handling systems by interpreting procedures provided by the customer.
  • Perform troubleshooting of applications on both liquid handling and NGS solutions.
  • Provide advance programming skills on integrations with third party devices.
  • Optimize liquid handling performance.
  • Provide key technical input, consultation, and support for determination of current automated application modifications, and future application directions.
  • Maintain support for existing customers by providing additional application support.
  • Understand customer expectations and schedule work accordingly.
  • Support internal communication and sharing across the life sciences portfolio of instruments and reagents.
  • Support commercial marketing activities by leveraging KOL networks and Internal expertise.
