Opportunity Overview The Teradyne Field Applications team is looking for a highly motivated, energetic and driven Field Application Engineer, who will work collaboratively with the team as well as independently to determine and develop imaginative, thorough, and practical application solutions. Develop test techniques focused on Power discrete and Linear products Develop new test techniques using C/C++ and application board design to address new or enhanced customer requirements Address customer support issues on complex problems Develop strong working relationships with the factory teams, marketing, and engineering groups Work with sales to pursue new opportunities and provide technical input All About You We seek individuals who share our passion and determination. Requirements

BS degree in either Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering
2+ years of industry experience
Must have strong, hands-on hardware experience using lab equipment, such as: digital multimeter, High Speed Oscilloscopes and Waveform generators
Must have strong programming experience in C, C++
Must have strong analytical skills and practical problem-solving skills
Must be proficient in Windows and Excel
Must have excellent communications skills, Verbal, presentation and documentation
Must have ability to work both within a team and independently
Must be able to travel up to 20% or greater
Must be able to carry auto liability or minimum insurance due to automotive responsibilities

Nice To Haves

Experience with ATE equipment particularly Eagle test systems is highly desired
Experience in Discrete, High-Power Modules, or Linear devices is highly desired
High power AC testing experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Develop test techniques focused on Power discrete and Linear products
