About The Position

Power Integrations is the leading supplier of high-voltage, analog integrated circuits (ICs) used in power conversion. Requirements

• BSEE or equivalent; MSEE or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a sales engineering role.
• AC-DC Power Conversion design experience.
• Demonstrated magnetics design experience.
• Experience in one of the following end markets: UPS, Solid State Lighting, Metering, Appliances, Cell Phone chargers, Industrial controls, Notebook or PC Power Supplies preferred.
• Prior experience as an FAE for semiconductor products used in power conversion applications preferred.
• Working knowledge of EMI and Safety standards.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% within region for on-site customer support.

Responsibilities

• Add a talented Field Applications Engineer to the North American Sales team based in the Western US region.
• Act as the technical lead in the sales organization within the region.
• Provide guidance to customers in choosing the right products and optimizing implementation.
• Perform detailed bench work to breadboard and test solutions for customers.
