About The Position

E2 Consulting Engineers, Inc. is seeking Field Administrators for gas pipeline construction projects in Southern Illinois.

Requirements

• A vocational/technical school education is strongly preferred
• Ability to read a tape measure and interpret construction blueprints
• Previous AutoCAD experience
• Computer skills a must (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; tablets and PC savvy)
• Strong attention to detail
• Organizational skills capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work outdoors; 10 hours per day, 5 days a week
• Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50lbs
• Authorized to work in the US
• Valid driver's license
• Personal vehicle with insurance

Nice To Haves

• Ability to work well with all levels of gas construction industry professionals
• Ability to maintain organization in construction field conditions (i.e., working out of a vehicle)
• Ability to represent E2's client (Ameren Gas of Illinois) with professionalism and integrity

Responsibilities

• Compile data for project completion
• Work closely with field personnel daily to ensure accuracy of field-generated data and documentation on up to 3 construction sites at a time
• Maintain records of new and repaired pipelines to meet company and regulatory requirements
• Assist gas pipeline inspectors with the material inventory process and material reconciliation reports
• Daily electronic entry of field-generated data
