About The Position
The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Human & Community Services Division. The Human and Community Services Division provides cash assistance, employment training, supplemental nutrition assistance (formerly food stamps), Medicaid, energy assistance, weatherization, and other services to help families move out of poverty and toward self-support. The Field Administrator position oversees operations of the Offices of Public Assistance (OPA) across the state to attain compliance with regulations, oversees the effectiveness of program services and ensures compliance with regulations, oversees strategic operations, and represents the bureau with internal and external stakeholders. This position directly supervises 4 full-time employees and over 300 indirect employees.
