About The Position
CCMS & Associates is seeking a dedicated and experienced 1099 Field Adjuster to join our innovative team in St. Louis, Missouri. This role is crucial as we expand our roster of professionals who are committed to providing exceptional service in the property and casualty insurance industry. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of field experience in either residential or commercial property adjusting. As a Field Adjuster, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of properties, investigating claims, and preparing detailed reports that reflect your findings. Your expertise will help us maintain high standards of service and compliance with industry best practices. In this position, you will utilize Xactimate software to complete residential and commercial field property inspections. You will be tasked with investigating claims by obtaining recorded statements from insureds, claimants, or witnesses, and by interviewing relevant officials such as fire and police personnel. Your ability to analyze coverage forms and endorsements will be essential in providing a comprehensive initial report to clients, ensuring that all coverage issues are well-documented. You will also be responsible for recommending claim reserves based on your investigations, which will require a strong understanding of property and liability insurance coverage and industry standards. We are looking for someone who demonstrates strong time management and customer service skills, as these are critical to the success of our operations. The role requires a reliable individual who can prepare Statement of Loss, Proof of Loss, and denial letters with accuracy and professionalism.
