About The Position

Climb is launching a dedicated SLED division, and we’re looking for a Field Account Manager to lead strategic relationships with reseller partners serving state, local, and education markets. This role blends field sales expertise with public sector know-how and emerging technology acceleration—helping vendors and partners thrive in a dynamic ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years in tech sales with SLED-focused resellers, distributors, or similar environments.
  • Competitive & Driven: Passionate about exceeding targets and growing market share.
  • Tech-Savvy: Strong understanding of IT security and solutions for the US SLED market.
  • Relationship Builder: Excellent communication and collaboration skills across partners, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Analytical: Skilled in territory planning and familiar with tools like GovSpend.
  • Flexible: Comfortable with moderate travel (~40%).

Responsibilities

  • Own Growth: Drive sales and vendor expansion across SLED-focused resellers.
  • Recruit & Activate: Identify and onboard new partners aligned to Climb’s GTM strategy.
  • Strategize & Segment: Prioritize top resellers, segment the SLED ecosystem, and deliver measurable growth.
  • Engage Partners: Build strong relationships, educate and enable reseller reps, and uncover new opportunities.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with Inside Sales, Vendor Management, Marketing, and Alliances to deliver a consistent partner experience.
  • Plan & Forecast: Lead joint planning with partners, manage pipeline, and ensure accurate forecasting. Vendor Alignment: Partner with vendor field teams to launch joint GTM initiatives and drive adoption of key lines.
