About The Position

As a Field Account Manager for Institutional Accounts at HD Supply, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and maintaining relationships with an established portfolio of customers. Your primary responsibility will be to sell maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) supplies, along with other products, to meet and exceed sales and profit targets in your designated territory, which includes Tampa, FL. This position offers a competitive base salary complemented by a sales incentive bonus, and you will be provided with a laptop/tablet, cell phone, and coverage for monthly expenses. In this role, you will implement sales and marketing programs while establishing both short and long-term sales strategies. You will be expected to secure profitable new accounts through industry research, networking, and proactive prospecting. The position requires you to operate a company vehicle or your personal vehicle, with the expectation that this operation will occur more than 50% of the average work week. A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report will be conducted as part of the hiring process, and an acceptable MVR report is a requirement for this position. Your success will depend on your ability to manage sales and customer retention initiatives effectively, enhancing overall sales performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction. You will generate a strategic sales call schedule and engage in face-to-face customer visits to identify opportunities and enhance sales revenue through the promotion of value-added solutions. Additionally, you will utilize Salesforce for reporting and data analysis to identify growth opportunities within your territory, ensuring that you meet or exceed your sales and margin plans.
