About The Position

The Fiberglass Technician is responsible for repairing and restoring fiberglass surfaces in various applications, including vehicles and composite structures. This role requires expertise in preparing surfaces, applying fiberglass materials, and ensuring high-quality finishes that meet safety and aesthetic standards.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with fiberglass.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and layout fiberglass mats, cloths, or sheets according to repair specifications.
• Clean, sand, and prepare surfaces for patching, ensuring proper adhesion of fiberglass materials.
• Mix and apply resin, hardeners, and other bonding agents to the fiberglass materials to create strong, durable patches.
• Conduct thorough inspections of completed repairs to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
