About The Position

We are looking for a hands-on Fiberglass Production Laborer to join our shop team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in general labor, fiberglass work, manufacturing, construction, scenic production, or fabrication—or those who want to learn these skills on the job. COST of Wisconsin, Inc. is a nationally recognized leader in themed construction, producing rockwork, sculpted environments, immersive exhibits, and specialty finishes for zoos, theme parks, museums, resorts, casinos, attractions, and entertainment venues across the country. You’ll work as part of a collaborative shop team supporting fiberglass production and finishing. This is a hands-on, physical role in a production shop setting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to use basic hand tools
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Willingness to learn new techniques and work as part of a team

Nice To Haves

• Experience in fiberglass, construction, manufacturing, scenic fabrication, carpentry, or similar hands-on work
• Ability to read basic blueprints or shop drawings
• Forklift experience (or interest in learning)

Responsibilities

• Using hand tools and power tools (drills, saws, grinders, tape measures, etc.)
• Assisting with fiberglass layup, trimming, sanding, and finishing work
• Cleaning, preparing, and organizing work areas and equipment
• Moving materials and finished pieces safely throughout the shop
• Operating or training to operate a forklift (certification training provided)
• Following all safety procedures and wearing proper PPE
