Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in fiberglass, composites, or mold work preferred.
• Basic knowledge of fiberglass layup techniques and mold repair processes.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Understanding of safety requirements for working with chemicals and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Prepare molds for production, including cleaning, waxing, and buffing surfaces.
• Inspect molds for damage or defects and perform necessary repairs.
• Apply release agents to ensure proper part removal.
• Maintain mold alignment, surface finish, and structural integrity.
• Assist in mold setup and teardown during production runs.
• Perform fiberglass layup and repair work on molds as needed.
• Follow safety procedures when working with resins, fiberglass, and chemicals.
• Maintain records of mold condition, usage, and repairs.
• Collaborate with production supervisors and quality teams to resolve mold-related issues.
