Requirements

  • Three (3) years of relevant experience
  • Experience with cable installation and management
  • Proficiency in fiber and copper testing
  • Skilled in infrastructure maintenance and support
  • Ability to create and maintain basic technical documentation
  • Must have an active Secret clearance
  • BICSI Installer or industry equivalent

  • Proven team leadership and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

  • Perform ISP/OSP cable installation, testing, and maintenance to ensure reliable connectivity.
  • Install cable infrastructure in compliance with industry standards and specifications.
  • Splice fiber and copper cables to support network connections.
  • Test connectivity to verify functionality and performance of installed systems.
  • Document systems, configurations, and maintenance activities for accurate record-keeping.
  • Provide support during emergencies, addressing issues promptly to restore service.
  • Maintain cable pathways to ensure safety and optimal network performance.
  • Label cables and infrastructure components for easy identification and future reference.
  • Verify services to ensure proper installation and functionality of all systems.
  • Work independently or as part of a team.
