About The Position
The Fiber Installation Technician is responsible for the installation and maintenance of customer services at homes and businesses. This position involves servicing and maintaining main line and drop fiber to the home. The technician will install, terminate, and test fiber optic cable and ethernet, route fiber and cables from the outside to the inside of a home or business, and support the customer’s audio and video technologies. The role requires strong interpersonal skills for customer interaction regarding installation requirements and issue resolution. The technician will also be responsible for training customers on the use of internet, telephone, and television services.
