About The Position

Full Time: Google Fiber Installation Technician. Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and customer experience of high speed Internet and voice services, working both inside and outside the home.

Requirements

• Valid state driver's license and non-negligent driving record
• Pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol screening
• Ability to perform job activities in all weather conditions
• Capable of carrying, handling, and climbing 24ft ladders
• Weekend and Holiday work may be required
• Ability to work well in a team environment and independently

Nice To Haves

• Experience configuring Routers and Home Networks
• Telecom/Low-Voltage Installation Experience: CAT5/CAT6 and/or COAX
• Working Knowledge of Basic Power and Hand Tools
• Basic Knowledge of Home Construction
• Customer Service

Responsibilities

• Installation of Customer Premises Equipment [IE: ONTs, Routers, Switches]
• Connecting Fiber Optic jumpers
• Running or reusing COAX or CAT5/CAT6 wiring
• Network Configuration
• Verification and Customer Education on Services Provided
