About The Position

This Fiber Supply Associate (FSA) position will be a member of the chip and fiber fuel team, and will procure fiber fuel (biomass) in support of the Mansfield Mill utilities area. In addition, the successful candidate will learn the other functions the Fiber Supply team performs in support of the mill, for example: safety leadership, communicating with the mill operations team, supplier relationship management, logistics coordination, contract negotiations, inventory management, and responsible sourcing due diligence. The FSA will own and manage relationships with vendors to ensure compliance with contracts and company policies and procedures, including financial, safety, raw material quality, environmental performance, and fiber certifications. Activities are divided between the mill, field (woods, chips mills, sawmills, etc.), and office environments. The FSA will be expected to analyze and interpret data to help solve problems, plan and forecast deliveries and costs, and improve the effectiveness of the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Forestry, Business Management, Pulp & Paper Science, Marketing, Logistics, Transportation, Purchasing, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Materials Management, Supply Chain) or related field
