About The Position
The position is responsible for technician training, completing construction and modifying substations. The role includes participating in the installation, testing, maintenance, operation, and modification of the electric transmission and distribution substation Fiber Optic WAN/LAN and communications cabling, Fiber Optic multiplexers, and equipment. Additionally, the employee may be asked to assist with other Electric Substation duties, such as wiring of equipment, installation of battery systems, and DC-AC power systems. The employee will serve as 'in-charge' in the absence of the Supervisor or Lead.
