About The Position

Viaero Fiber Networks is a fast-growing provider of fiber optic network solutions serving Colorado, Nebraska, and Kansas. We’re looking for an experienced Fiber Construction Project Manager in Colorado to lead regional fiber build projects from planning through completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecommunications technology, engineering, management, and process improvement to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position is based at our headquarters in Fort Morgan, Colorado.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in fiber optic or telecom construction
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field. Experience and relevant certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Proven project management experience (budgeting, scheduling, vendor oversight)
  • Strong knowledge of fiber optic network design, installation, and maintenance
  • Experience leading teams and managing contractors
  • Proficiency with project management and reporting tools (Excel, PM software)
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background, MVR, and drug screening,
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without need of current or future Visa sponsorship.
  • OSHA 10 (required)

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 30 and Confined Space preferred
  • PMP certification a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage fiber construction projects including scope, schedule, budget, and resources
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Permitting, Contractors, and Field Teams
  • Oversee daily construction activities (fiber placement, splicing, testing, integration)
  • Track project costs and ensure projects stay on budget
  • Forecast materials and partner with Procurement to meet timelines
  • Monitor progress, resolve issues, and provide status updates to leadership and clients
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, permits, and company policies
  • Lead and support internal teams and contract partners
