About The Position

The Non-Wovens Fiber Account Manager will have demonstrated success in strong sales account leadership. He/ she will build long-term relationships with an existing non-woven fiber manufacturing customer base and develop new pipeline opportunities with international and domestic companies. The Account Manager will identify strategic areas and grow the chemical sales across all aspects of the non-wovens fiber market.

Requirements

  • BS or Master’s degree in chemistry, business with at least 7 years successful sales experience specializing in non-woven fibers.
  • Proven sales leadership skills including strong closing skills, sales planning, territory management and market knowledge.
  • Experience selling specialty chemicals into and knowledge of the non-woven fiber market.
  • Experience in solving challenging problems, setting strategies, prioritizing and implementing appropriate sales plans.
  • Strong communications, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Ability and flexibility to travel and participate / collaborate with international colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the strategic direction for the sales territory.
  • Drive the sales and development of products to enable new growth opportunities and provide technical support to our customers.
  • Evaluate new sales opportunities designed to meet territory and business objectives.
  • Work closely with current and prospective customers to understand business needs.
  • Recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain / grow sales and margins.
