We are seeking a Installation Supervisor to join our Operations team for special projects in the field. We are seeking a field-based individual who is skilled in fiber installations, MDU networking, low-voltage systems, and team supervision. In this role you will oversee on-site installation teams, manage contractors, and ensure successful completion of special broadband projects. This position will require travel of up to 80% annually depending on project location and residence

Requirements

5+ years of telecom/broadband experience
2-3 years of leadership or management experience
Proven experience with fiber optics (single-mode and multi-mode)
Strong understanding of MDU (Multi-Dwelling Unit) networking
Proficiency in low-voltage wiring and related systems
Comfortable using hand tools and basic installation equipment
Demonstrated ability to lead field teams and supervise projects
Experience in troubleshooting and customer-facing installations
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Must provide a valid government-issued photo ID for verification; a driver’s license is required if the role involves driving
Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Ruckus and/or Cambium equipment is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Supervise and assist with the installation of single-mode and multi-mode fiber
Manage and support contractors and internal technicians in the field
Lead installation teams on-site and act as the primary liaison with clients
Handle low-voltage wiring and ensure proper cable routing and termination
Perform and troubleshoot broadband installations and system issues
Ensure project milestones and deadlines are met while maintaining quality standards
Interpret and implement MDU network designs effectively
Use basic hand tools proficiently in field installations
Coordinate with Project Managers to align resources, timelines, and deliverables
Maintain documentation and reports related to project status and field activities
Other duties as assigned
