Our Fiber Drop Installation Technicians are responsible for the installation of the network interface device (NID) at the outside of the customer home, connecting the fiber drop from the NID to the multiport service terminal (MST) and ensuring light signal levels meet company standards and then ensure the drop is buried to company specification if underground or properly lashed if aerial. Our Fiber Drop Installation Technicians respond to internet service calls when it is determined a new drop is required to restore service. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy interacting with customers at their home or business. A Fiber Drop Installation Technician should have various levels of experience with the installation and repair of fiber broadband services in outdoor settings; however, we will train a hard-working candidate who is interested in learning this field of work.
