The mission of this position is to help Church members fulfill their divinely appointed responsibility to discover their families through family history methods, submit their names to the temple for saving ordinances, and to help bring souls unto CHRIST. At the Family History Department (FHD), we enable inspiring journeys that bring joy to all people as they discover, gather, and connect their family-past, present, and future. The FHD Learning and Development Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring alignment of this promise and our quality standards of inspiration, trust, kindness, effectiveness and simplicity within the department and across teams. This role is responsible for designing and implementing the FHD learning and development strategy, actively managing the learning portfolio and the delivery of impactful training to inspire a global distributed workforce.
