Requirements

Master’s Degree in mental health field
Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and experience as a psychotherapist working with people with mental illness and/or serious emotional disorders.
Demonstrated training and experience in all aspects of mental health treatment, assessment, evaluation, and provision of individual and family therapy.
Relevant experience to program model to which individual is assigned.
LMSW, LMFT-A or LPC-A required.

Nice To Haves

LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or Licensed as Clinical Psychologist in State of CT preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides crisis assessment and intervention to monitor status of clients in crisis.
Demonstrates competency in age related or specialty issues and developmental needs for each population served.
Determines appropriate treatment services for assigned clients to assist them in staying in the community and resuming occupational, educational and/or leisure activities.
Documents ongoing client progress and outcomes
Maintains collaborative relationships with family members and other service providers.
Responsible for Maintaining Client and Staff Records According to Agency Policy
Transports clients, when necessary, using agency vehicle and/or personal vehicle.
