The Family Recovery Support, under the direction of the Recovery House Manager, is responsible for coordinating and transporting residents to sites in the community. This individual ensures the safety and well-being of residents during transportation. This individual works directly with residents in early recovery, providing structure and support to residents seeking to establish long-term recovery from a substance use disorder. When not transporting residents, the Van Driver will perform Family Recovery Support duties. Family Recovery Support duties include monitoring the residential center to ensure the safety and well-being of residents, staff and visitors. This individual will confirm residents, staff and visitors sign in and out of the facility, ensuring compliance with program policies and procedures. This individual will search residents and visitors per program policies and procedures. This individual will complete additional duties including laundry, light cleaning, organizing, and other tasks as assigned. This position may transport residents in agency vehicle, if approved driver status is obtained. As the residential center opens, the Van Driver/Family Recovery Support must be flexible and support the team in successful launch and scaling of services.
