About The Position

The Fertility RN at Bloom Reproductive Institute is a full-time role focused on providing compassionate and comprehensive care to patients undergoing fertility treatments. The IVF Nurse Coordinator will collaborate closely with physicians to manage patient care plans, educate patients about procedures, and offer emotional support throughout their fertility journey.

Requirements

• RN License
• BLS Certification
• Reproductive endocrinology experience
• Mid-level Ob/Gyn experience
• ACLS Certification
• ICU experience
• Bachelor's degree
• 2 years Nursing experience
• 1 year Ob/Gyn experience

Responsibilities

• Meet with patients to coordinate upcoming treatment plans for IVF and FET cycles, including review of requirements, calendars, and medications.
• Educate patients on IVF procedures, treatment protocols, medication, and injections.
• Communicate with physician any patient-related issues, ultrasound findings, and lab results.
• Schedule patients as needed to ensure completion of requirements for planned treatments.
• Provide daily telephone calls/triage to patients informing of lab results, coordinating appointments, and communicating therapy changes.
• Document office visits, telephone calls, emails, and lab results in a timely manner.
• Prepare/Recover patients that undergo procedures including Oocyte retrieval, Embryo Transfer, and Hysteroscopy.
• Provide compassion and emotional support and counseling to patients throughout the IVF experience.
• Other duties as assigned.
