About The Position
As a Fertility Patient Financial Coordinator at Conceptions Florida, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment for patients seeking fertility treatments. Your primary responsibility will be to actively listen to patients, understand their concerns, and assist them in achieving their desired results through effective communication about the various procedures offered by Conceptions Florida. You will be expected to adhere to the company's policies and procedures while providing financial counseling to patients regarding all procedures, including IUI, IVF, and egg preservation. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting cycle deposits and final payments from patients before the start of any treatment. You will also review insurance information with patients, schedule financial consultations, and work closely with nurse coordinators to provide treatment plans and cycle start dates. It is essential to maintain clear communication with the nursing staff and management regarding financial clearances and cycle payments. You will be required to document all interactions and updates in the EMR system (EIVF) to ensure that all team members can assist patients as needed. Additionally, you will be tasked with requesting prior authorizations for procedures and ensuring they are approved before any cycles begin. Your role will also involve addressing any billing inquiries and financial questions from patients, ensuring that all communications are handled promptly, with a commitment to returning calls and emails within 24 hours. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while providing exceptional patient care.
