As a Fertigation Technician at Curaleaf, you’ll support our cultivation team by managing daily irrigation and nutrient delivery to ensure healthy plants and consistent feed schedules across the facility. You’ll be hands-on with our fertigation systems, monitor and record irrigation metrics, and keep equipment, tanks, and lines clean and functioning properly.

Requirements

  • Comfortable working independently, including weekend coverage.
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency with data logging.
  • Initiative — you notice issues, troubleshoot, and communicate proactively.
  • Ability to follow SOPs, stay organized, and maintain a clean workspace.
  • Basic understanding of pH/EC or willingness to learn quickly.
  • Ability to perform physical labor (lift/move equipment, bend/stand for long periods).
  • Reliable attendance and a team-first mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with irrigation, nutrient systems, or cultivation is a plus (not required).

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain fertigation systems and batch tanks.
  • Prepare and mix daily nutrient feed for flower rooms.
  • Monitor runoff/catch systems and verify correct pH/EC.
  • Use solus reader for spot checks and log all irrigation data in Aroya/Growlink.
  • Track feed volume, pH, EC, VWC, and root-zone EC for irrigation zones.
  • Keep cultivar-specific notes on feed schedules, irrigation shot counts, and observations.
  • Clean and sanitize batch tanks and irrigation lines regularly.
  • Maintain fertigation equipment, workspace, and nutrient inventory par levels.
  • Pull irrigation data daily and escalate issues quickly if readings fall outside range.
  • Prepare line-cleaning solutions during harvest cycles.
