About The Position

The Fence Weaver operates a fence weaver machine that forms wire fencing. Fence Weaver at NPSG Global works in a collaborative, supportive, and fast-moving manufacturing environment where safety and quality are of the highest priority. Work Environment: Manufacturing environment with intermittent noise, long periods of standing in a warehouse-type physical space, with exposure to noise and dust in hot and cold climates. Monitoring and adjusting operating parameters of fence weaving equipment to confirm that product materials and quality requirements are being met. Starting production on equipment and making necessary adjustments to equipment. Must be mechanically inclined. 1 year machine operator experience is preferred, but not necessary - we will train. Ability to read, write, and comprehend English. Ability to perform simple math, add, subtract, multiply, divide, and take measurements using tape measure. Requirements

  • Must be mechanically inclined.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
  • Ability to perform simple math, add, subtract, multiply, divide, and take measurements using tape measure.
  • Physical Demands: Bending, sitting, lifting 100 pounds consistently, carrying, pushing, pulling, standing on cement floor, walking on manufacturing floor, communication (speaking/listening as well as typing/reading).
  • Must be willing to learn new machinery and work as a team.
  • Must have a good work ethic and be reliable.
  • Must be willing to work day shift or second/swing shift, as well as be open to overtime and Saturday work as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year machine operator experience is preferred, but not necessary - we will train.
