Female Caregiver (Spanish Speaking Required)
About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable female caregiver to provide in-home care for a client. The ideal candidate must speak Spanish fluently and have hands-on experience using a Hoyer lift . FirstLight hires Caregivers, Home Health Aides, CNAs, Care Coordinators, Companion Care and Personal Care Assistants who have a genuine desire to enrich the lives of others and help them have their best day, every day. Our professional caregivers provide safety, comfort and companionship for adults who need support. But we do more than make a meal or help with mobility. We establish meaningful relationships built on trust and respect. We give you the care, support and training you need to be the best caregiver you can be so that you can make a difference in the lives of others! This franchise is independently owned and operated by a local franchisee. Your application will go directly to the franchisee, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this local office. All inquiries about employment at this location should be made directly to the franchisee, and not to the FirstLight Home Care Support Center.
Requirements
- Fluent Spanish speaker (required)
- Proven experience with Hoyer lift (required)
- Previous caregiving experience (home care or facility)
- Reliable, patient, and compassionate
- Ability to lift and assist safely
- Background check may be required
Responsibilities
- Assisting with transfers using a Hoyer lift
- Personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
- Mobility assistance and repositioning
- Light housekeeping related to client care
- Meal preparation
- Companionship and emotional support
- Following care plans and safety guidelines
