We are currently seeking qualified Administrative Personnel to perform a variety of clerical functions in support of Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) recovery operations. This is an excellent opportunity for those who want to use their knowledge, skills and abilities to help disaster survivors at disaster recovery operation work sites throughout the United States and its territories. *Please note, this is a deployment-based position.   • Travel to disaster recovery sites to assist with project administration, planning and oversight.
  • Schedule meetings and maintain correspondence in Microsoft Teams and Outlook.
  • Process staff travel requests, document accountability, and maintain a database of employee information.
  • Assist with change requests and task order modifications.
  • Manage files and documents.
  • Coordinate logistics.
  • Write technical documents and correspondence.
  • Perform other administrative and clerical activities related to the work.
  • High School diploma required; An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in office administration in a professional work environment.
  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams); Power BI proficiency is a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer relations skills.
  • Must be forward thinking, proactive and able to take initiative.
  • Successful candidates will possess a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and desire to help others; they are highly flexible to respond to various tasks and changing demands.
  • Must be able to travel and deploy to disaster recovery operation for a minimum 90-day assignment; preference is for longer commitments.
  • Must be able to work up to 12 hours per day, 7 days a week for extended periods of time.
  • Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver's license.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to successfully pass a federal background investigation that includes a financial and criminal history assessment.
