About The Position

The Residency Coordinator provides daily support for all undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing medical education programs within a residency program(s) service line(s). The Residency Coordinator provides guidance and direction for all residents and fellows and Jefferson Medical College students within residency program. He/she assists the Residency Program Directors in the planning and development of policies and procedures relating to the educational programs and ensures compliance with all external review agencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Four years of healthcare administration experience, including a minimum of 2 years in graduate medical education.
• Excellent organizational and administrative abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Complete familiarity with computers and database management.
• Ability to handle confidential information and exercise good judgement.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support for all undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing medical education programs within a residency program(s) service line(s).
• Guide and direct residents, fellows, and Jefferson Medical College students within the residency program.
• Assist Residency Program Directors in planning and developing policies and procedures for educational programs.
• Ensure compliance with all external review agencies.
