About The Position

Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Fellow PeopleSoft Developer Engineer (Hybrid) opportunity to support the Savannah River Site. This position involves providing software development and maintenance support for various PeopleSoft applications, including Finance, Supply Chain Management, Human Capital Management, and Customer Relationship Management. The role requires effective communication skills, mentoring of junior staff, adherence to IT protocols, and the ability to work independently on assigned tasks. The position may require some on-call coverage and flexible work hours to support ongoing system operations.

Requirements

  • An advanced degree (Ph.D. with about 10 years' experience, MS with 12 years' experience, or BS with approximately 15 years' experience).
  • A minimum of 20 years of experience in developing and supporting PeopleSoft software applications.
  • Proficiency in PeopleSoft modules: Finance, Supply Chain Management, Human Capital Management, and Customer Relationship Management.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in PeopleSoft development technologies and tools.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Finance and Supply Chain Finance version 9.2.049 or higher.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft HRMS version 9.2.51 or higher.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft CRM version 9.2.22 or higher.
  • Experience with Oracle relational database management systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with DOE and NNSA reporting.
  • Familiarity with configuration management tool, STAT.
  • Familiarity with the text editor tool, UltraEdit.
  • Experience with applying PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) images.
  • Experience with enabling and supporting Fluid pages within PeopleSoft.
  • Experience with support of Pathlock single sign-on software for PeopleSoft.

Responsibilities

  • Provide software development and maintenance support for PeopleSoft applications.
  • Handle assigned projects and production support tickets, gathering requirements and replicating issues.
  • Mentor IT staff by sharing insights and teaching PeopleSoft development tools.
  • Adhere to SRNS IT protocols and standards in application development.
  • Be available during normal business hours for questions and problem resolution.
  • Generate electronic weekly status reports for management.
  • Work independently to complete software development and maintenance tasks.
  • Develop solutions to complex technical problems.
  • Prepare plans including schedules, budgets, and personnel requirements for major technical tasks.
  • Communicate results and objectives verbally and in manuscript form.
