THE ROLE AMD is seeking an exceptionally accomplished technical leader for the role of Fellow, Memory Firmware Development. This individual will operate at the highest technical level, providing strategic direction, hands-on architectural guidance, and world-class debug expertise to our core memory firmware and silicon teams. This is a critical, high-impact role aimed at solving the toughest problems and ensuring market leadership in for AMD's cutting-edge EPYC server CPUs. The successful candidate will leverage deep, specialized domain expertise to solve the most complex, systemic challenges at the intersection of silicon, firmware, and hardware. THE PERSON The ideal candidate possesses a solid track record of providing technical vision and leadership for the entire memory firmware lifecycle, from pre-silicon architecture definition through high-volume production and post-launch customer support. This role involves significant technical influence across multiple internal teams (Architecture, Silicon Design, Validation, Platform Engineering) and external partners (JEDEC, DRAM vendors, ODM/OEMs).
