Overview: Job Description Summary: Provides subspecialty care and treatment to patients under the supervision of a licensed physician. Job Description: Essential Functions: Provides subspecialty patient care in a multidisciplinary care setting, under supervision commensurate with the level of advancement and responsibility. Participates in research, quality improvement, and scholarly activities as required. Participates in rounds and presents patient cases to colleagues. Participates in didactics, conferences, and other educational activities as mandated by program Teaches and supervises other fellows, residents, students and other members of the healthcare team, in accordance with level of experience. Education Requirement: Graduate of an accredited medical or osteopathic school, or international equivalent, required. All trainees functioning in NCH facilities must be in a program that has been approved by the NCH GMEC (Graduate Medical Education Committee) or in an approved residency program of an institution with which NCH has an educational affiliation agreement. Licensure Requirement: Medical License in the State of Ohio or certification by the Medical Board of the State of Ohio, required. Experience: Meets requirements established by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), other applicable professional organizations, and NCH, for fellowship training, meets the requirements for the Ohio State Medical Board for licensure as a fellow, and has made application to NCH for participation in the Program.
