About The Position

UDR is seeking qualified candidates for a Fellow Engineer/ Peoplesoft Developer opportunity for our customer in Aiken, SC to support the Savannah River Site. The Fellow Engineer/ Peoplesoft Developer will provide software development and maintenance support for the PeopleSoft Finance and Supply Chain Management, PeopleSoft Human Capital Management, and PeopleSoft Customer Relationship Management software applications. Responsibilities include handling assigned projects and production support tickets, working with customers to gather requirements, replicating issues, and performing research and coding modifications to support the PeopleSoft production operations. The candidate will also act as a mentor to Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS) IT staff by sharing insights and prior lessons learned from previous PeopleSoft experience and providing and teaching knowledge about PeopleSoft development tools to accelerate the learning curve and ability of junior SRNS staff to support PeopleSoft modules. This position may require some rotational 24 x 7 on-call coverage to support the PeopleSoft applications and may occasionally necessitate a flexible work schedule, including overtime or schedule adjustments, to support ongoing system operations such as payroll processing, month-end or year-end closing, and system upgrades.

Requirements

  • An advanced degree and experience, a Ph.D. degree and about 10 years' experience, OR a MS degree and 12 years' experience, OR a BS degree and approximately 15 years' experience.
  • Demonstrated a minimum of 20 years of experience in developing and supporting PeopleSoft software applications.
  • Familiarity with Finance modules, Supply Chain Management modules, PeopleSoft Human Capital Management modules, and PeopleSoft Customer Relationship Management modules.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in PeopleSoft development technologies, PeopleTools 8.61.08 or higher.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Finance and Supply Chain Finance version 9.2.049 or higher.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft HRMS version 9.2.51 or higher.
  • Experience with Peoplesoft CRM version 9.2.22 or higher.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel).
  • Demonstrated experience with Oracle relational database management systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrate experience with DOE and NNSA reporting.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with configuration management tool, STAT.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with the text editor tool, UltraEdit.
  • Demonstrated experience with applying PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) images.
  • Demonstrated experience with enabling and supporting Fluid pages within PeopleSoft.
  • Demonstrated experience with support of Pathlock single sign on software for PeopleSoft.

Responsibilities

  • Provide software development and maintenance support for PeopleSoft applications.
  • Handle assigned projects and production support tickets.
  • Work with customers to gather requirements and replicate issues.
  • Perform research and coding modifications to support PeopleSoft production operations.
  • Act as a mentor to SRNS IT staff.
  • Generate electronic weekly status reports for the IT Manager, IT Lead, and Subcontract Technical Representative (STR).
  • Develop solutions to complex technical problems.
  • Prepare plans including schedules, budgets, and personnel requirements for solving major technical tasks.
  • Communicate results and objectives verbally and in manuscript form.
